This is the Online Registration system for participation in the Bay Area Science and Engineering Fair (BASEF).
Please have information on the project (title, description, purpose) and student(s) (names, address, emergency contacts) ready.
1) You will first Register your Project - this includes entering your Project Title, Description, Purpose, and Student details. You will then receive a Project Registration ID Number.
2) You will receive a confirmation by email in early March and you will be asked to upload your Project Abstract and Consent Form at that time.
3) You will receive information by email in early March about the in-person Fair schedule - Project setup on Thursday March 23rd, Judging Day on Friday March 24th, Public Viewing on Saturday March 25th, and the Awards Show on Tuesday March 28th.
Once you submit the completed Registration information (step 1) you will not be able to change it. If you need to change or delete a registration after it has been completed, please contact us by email at registrar@basef.ca .
Online registration is open until 9:00pm on March 5th, 2023.
In some cases you may be asked to email us copies of your project forms before the fair.
